Prasad Rangaraju is a Professor at the Glenn Department of Civil Engineering in Clemson University and Visiting Professor at IITM and TU Delft. He received his PhD and MS degrees from in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and Iowa State University, respectively from the United States of America, and BTech in Civil Engineering from JNT University-Hyderabad in India. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and a member of American Concrete Institute (ACI), and American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). He has served as an Associate Editor of ASTM Journal of Advances in Civil Engineering Materials as well as Cement and Concrete Composites, and on numerous review panels for NSF, NEUP, NCHRP and other organizations. His research interests include Material Science and Engineering of Portland and Other Hydraulic Cements, Supplementary Cementitious Materials, Aggregates and Concrete, Microscopy of Cement based Composites, Repair Materials, Durability of Cementitious Systems, and Design, Construction and Rehabilitation of Concrete Pavements, 3D Printing of Cementitious Materials. Dr. Rangaraju is the Director of Sustainable Materials Research and Technology (SMART) group at Clemson University with a mission to develop and promote technologies related to Low-Carbon and Green Construction Materials and Practices. |
